Made using the lasso tool set to smart edge feathering at 10. But while creating the graphic on the left I accidentally had the antialias on so I guess it was the same as not having the feathering on at all. The graphic on the right was created with feathering on and NO antialias. A much smoother picture. I like the head and fingers feathered but the rest without feathering. Moral: Keep your eye on the control palette!! You'd think that would be drummed into my head by now!!
